Mark Making

1. As this the artist of these pieces, what was your main objective?

As the artist of this piece my main objective was to resemble the picture in the best way possible.

2. What tools did we primarily use for this project?

I primarily used the paint brush tool and the rectangular marquee tool.

3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some challenges I faced were picking the exact same color for each selection.

4. One of the requirements of this project was to make a custom paintbrush. How did you accomplish this and what kind of brushes did you make?

I made 4 different text brushes that described my grandma and made sure that they weren’t blurry.

5. An important requirement for this project was about defining your values. Making sure each value does not blend with the others. There are multiple ways to go about this. How did you accomplish this?

I accomplished it by selecting the certain colors at different times.
