1. As this the artist of these 3 pieces, what was your main objective?
My main objective in these 3 pieces was to combine 2 pictures and make them look the most realistic in each.
2. What tools did we primarily use for this project?
I primarily used the quick selection tool, and the paint brush tool.
3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
During this project I faced challenges while making sure that the two pictures that I combined looked realistic.
4. One of the requirements for the Double Exposure and the Duo-Tone project was to remove the backgrounds of your images. What tools or techniques did you use to remove it? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?
I used the quick selection tool mostly to select the background and the delete it. At first I had tried to use the pen tool but the quick selection tool worked better for me.
5. What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create the Double Exposure effect?
Using the layer mask benefited us because it allowed for us to finish the project quicker and is a great shortcut.
6. For the Duo-Tone, you had to experiment with mixing Channels and Background colors. Did you try something different with you background like a Gradient?
No, I just basically tried the black background because I liked the way it looked.
